Australian – Young Adult | Fiction – Writer
Kate Halena first experimented with writing at the age of fourteen, but it was several years later, after studying professional writing (creative writing) at TAFE that she decided to take her passion for writing seriously.
Her debut young adult novel will be published in 2023 (release date and title to be advised).
The story is set against the background of an iconic Australian city and a town that was inspired by several outback settlements which she has visited in her travels around Australia.
Kate also spends a portion of her time content and line editing manuscripts for other writers.
