The agents said no. That’s fine—I’ll say yes to myself. In a few months, my book will be out in the world on my terms.
For the past year, I’ve been deep in the querying trenches—sending my manuscript to literary agents, hoping for that “yes” every author dreams of. The rejections came, as they often do, but instead of closing the door, they opened another one: self-publishing. I know the querying process can be long, and even if I landed an agent, it wouldn’t guarantee a publishing deal—and if it did, it could still be ages before my book finally saw the light of day. I don’t want to waste more time.
Over the next few months, I’ll be giving my novel one last review before it heads to an editor for another round of editing. I want it to be the best version it can possibly be before it finds its readers. At the same time, I’ll be looking for a designer to create the perfect cover.
But that’s not all. This book is going international. Alongside the English edition, there will be a Polish version, so the story can reach even more readers across the globe.
If all goes to plan, the book will make its debut this November or December. It’s been a long road to get here, but I’m excited to share this next chapter of my journey with you—and even more excited for you to finally meet the characters who have lived in my head for so long.
This is just the beginning.

All the best on your journey. It sounds very exciting!
